"Strasser House" in Laimach

in the Ziller Valley The earlier home of the famous Strasser singer family who made the carol, "Silent Night, Holy Night!" world-famous. The wooden frame structure, still well-preserved, in Laimach was renovated by Ms. Rosi Kraft in 2000 and made into a public museum.
It is open daily from 10 AM to 12 PM and 2 to 5 PM, May to mid-October.

"Jospeh Mohr - the Vicar of Wagrain"

An exhibition under the title "Joseph Mohr - the Vicar of Wagrain" has been organised and can be visited on the top-floor of the museum "Waggerl Haus" in Wagrain. Mid December till April, June, September and October: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 2 to 6 PM July and August: Tuesday till Friday from 2 to 6 PM.

"Cultural walking tour" in Wagrain

A "cultural walking tour" has been laid out in Wagrain and includes
the most important sites associated with Mohr's work, the Joseph-Mohr-School, the vicarge, Mohr's grave site and the parish church. Beyond the south side of the church yard lies a permanent outdoor exhibit honoring the life and work of Mohr. The exhibit also includes information about the origin and dissemination of "Silent Night!".
