Nepomuk cross, made of beaten brass and encircled with a band of metal. The arms of the cross reach out to their spherical ends. In the centre is an eight-cornered brass star; the six rosettes of the same material have glass stones in different shades of red set in them. On Corpus Christi and on the saint’s day for the patron saint of bridges, the Nepomuk cross was hung on the marble statue at the foot of the Kalvarienbergstiege (the steps leading up to the Oberndorf Calvary). This shows the esteem that the patron saint was held in by the local boatmen.
