Watercolour miniature, possibly by Franz Xaver Gruber himself. It shows the building in which Gruber’s son (or grandson) Felix was born, and the choirmaster’s house in Hallein, circa 1840. On the reverse is the handwritten note: “The birth place of Felix – right”.
